Asseteague island and Frontier Town

Beach bound baby!

After an afternoon on the beach with the wild ponies the girls dig into a spaghetti dinner!

Charlie's looking for the chicken nuggets!

Manic Monday almost over. Time to settle down to Team Umi Zoomie!

Bitty got up at 5am to watch the sunrise with me!

And a beautiful one it was!

What's waking up to ponies outside your trailer window worth?

Warm water, small waves in 12 inches of waters= happy grandkids!

They fought over that cap for 3 days!
So...After 2 days on the generator, hauling water and pulling the kids out of the path of the rogue ponies, we decided to pack up camp and movie to Frontier Town. Did I mention Mymy and I watched one pair of ponies mating! At least I didn't have to explain that to bitty and puppy!

Mymy attempting to appear patient while waiting for the fire. Roasting marshmallows is an important part of camping, don't you know :-*

Bitty playing the cowgirl with her brand new pink cap gun!

Charlie got a paramedics truck. He claims it's a racecar, even though it's got a siren!

And we have toasted marshmallows!

And the stick does double duty as a sword!

A monsoon hits ocean city!

And so we wait. And wait... Thank God for videos!

Ready to see our parents?!? For those of you who are looking for the action pics from the ocean and Frontier Town water park, please understand that while protecting the grandkids from waves, ponies and bigger kids, we were having too much fun just playing with them to remember to memorialize those moments!
A couple more pics of ponies!

So...After taking the kids to their respective parents, John and I have taken off to camp in the mountains!
Thanks for checking us out!

maiden voyage to Cowan's Gap State Park, PA

Our little slice!

Middle of the lake in Perfect!

Trying to figure out how to row with one oar longer than the other! Spent a lot of time going nowhere!

Breakfast on a griddle! I learned how to cook with gas. John learned that I can over easy.

Thinking about walking back to the campsite?

Mom loved the renovations. She says she wants to go camping! I think she may be up to it#

Kielbasa on the campfire! Never tasted better!

One pissed off dog# he knows we're leaving him! He wouldn't even say goodbye!

maiden voyage!

So the daughter-in-law and Baby Binky have come to help. Unfortunately, once the flour was changed up, we thought it was safe to let the midget on the ground. Just like at home, she went straight for the door. She likes to yell at the birds (or neighbors, not real sure which). She also likes to bang on the door like a minute inmate screaming "let me out!" Well that's exactly what she was doing when she fell face forward onto the curb! Yes my heart stopped, fortunately she's a strong little thing with a pretty soft head.

The son cut in around the toilet for me! Looked like it may require math, or a pencil. Either way, I was incapable!

So she's done!

Ready for her first trip as a Glamper!

Now that ain't no hunting cabin!

laying floor

Soo! We found out yesterday that the 2 cases of Winterwood vinyl flooring were not even close to enough to cover the floors. Unfortunately, they were online orders and would take 10-14 days to get more! We're going on our maiden voyage in 6 days!

Soo! Back to home depot with the Winterwood, in comes Country Pine. It's pretty, I like it more after setting on the ground.
After many hours of laying floor, I met this corner! I'm not sure why I was so blown by it? I'm mean eventually I had to get to it, right? So began the barrage of playing texts to the son. And who should appear, just in the nick of time? UNCLE NELSON!

He did try to explain what he was doing so I could do the other side! Sounded like Korean to me.He actually used 2 rulers and a pencil! He must of recognised the full glaze in my eyes. Me+ math= instant headache! So outta of the kindness of his heart, he did the other side. And grew took the toilet out, making it easier to do the bathroom!
Now I can spray paint the toilet! Poor John spent the past 2 days painting the tub and sink with the most noxious substance known to man! Really feel sorry for his patients tomorrow!

And closets!
And thanks to plenty of John's elbow grease, the tubs ready to be painted!
Now to finish the curtains!
